“I was born in Venezuela and grew up by the Caribbean Sea. My best memories as a child and adolescent are of the times my family spent in the Los Roques Archipelago National Park. Immersing myself in nature and swimming in the sea helped to ground my life and my worldview by appreciating all that nature provides. I became a SeaLegacy ambassador to support the important work they do to protect and rewild the ocean and because I want future generations to be able to experience the same connection with the sea that I grew up with.”
